Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress, musician and playback vocalist in Tamil films as well as Malayalam film. Annayum's Rasoolum has marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil debuts as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah was born in Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is an attorney in the Madras High Court. She has a younger sister living and working in Leuven Belgium, as a Research Assistant. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea began playing the piano classically in her 8th year. When she was 10, she was a part of a group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the basis of her first performing and music composition career. She performed as a stage performer at her school and took part in a variety of plays staged in the form of The Madras Players, EVAM and various theatre organizations. She was the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her acting career as an infant performer in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. In 2006, her role in the brand new Leo Coffee advert was in the role of Shiva. She also acted in the Podhigai Channel in a television series. She has appeared in all parts of India. She appeared in a small role at the end of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Gautham V. Menon contacted her following the fact that she had performed in the film Vettaiyaadu, to perform as a lead character in Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani in the film which is an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed. Her husband is implicated in an affair and she's blackmailed. Andrea was approached after Simran shobana and Tabu. The film was released in the early part of 2010 In August 2011 Venkat Prabhu launched his multi-starrer Mankatha. The film was commissioned to play a minor support role. Annayum Rasoolum is a romantic movie by Rajeev ravi that was released in 2013, marked the actress's Malayalam debut.
