Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into a family in South London. Her mother and father are both English. She attended The Brit School when she was 14. In London, she studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was earned. As a student at the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions including King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her career as an actor through the film Storm Damage. She's appeared as guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. Following that success she was cast as Elisha in the one-off BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in the six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside as Ollie. In the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe played the lead role in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy that was released in the year 2008. Some of her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 when she appeared on the dramatic The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes before being ended on The CW. She was cast in February 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was a regular in the drama series on ABC Revenge for two seasons. In May 2013 that she would quit the show after completing one guest appearance on the initial season of the third. The actress portrayed Tituba on the show Salem between 2014 and the year 2016. Madekwe and her partner of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he has also appeared alongside Madekwe on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for a Gemini Award, hails from an extensive Hamilton family. Her four older brothers were present as well: twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball parks because her brothers, who were all athletic, were hockey players, baseball players, as well as both during summer and winter. Ashley was never able to walk, however she did dance. As she was two and a half, she began Baby Ballet and fell in love. It was then that she discovered Ashley's love for dancing. Until she graduated from the high school she attended, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, acrobatics, lyrical, musical theatre and hip-hop. She also won top soloists awards in all major dance contests, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
